Hayes stared at Jimte and Carral in shock.
Count Bette's nephew already had a rough guess, but no matter what, he could not bring himself to believe it.
Because-
It was simply too incredible!
Looking at the timeline, there had still been an undercurrent of hostility the last time Jimte and Carral met.
Yet this time, they were fighting side by side.
Whatever had happened to each of them individually in between was unlikely to have brought them to the "inseparable" state before him.
Even if one of them had changed.
The other?
He would most likely have been exploiting it.
Hayes believed there was no way he could have missed something like that.
So something must have happened to both of them.
And for that to happen, they must have been together.
Only a shared experience could have led to them "fighting side by side" like this.
And as luck would have it, the two really had met once between those encounters.
A meeting he had not attended, at that.
Ymir Manor!
Once he pinpointed the location, Hayes naturally thought of Arthur Credos, the "Medium" of South Los.
The "Medium" had shone so brightly lately that Count Bette's nephew had paid him particular attention. Some information he had obtained from Manta, especially, had driven his assessment of the "Medium's" danger to the absolute limit-extraordinary talent and formidable strength were both things Count Bette's nephew could accept, because he himself was that sort of person.
What truly concerned Count Bette's nephew was the secretive family.
Count Bette's nephew had quietly gathered information on Creados.
And the more he gathered, the more alarmed he became.
Even the few scraps of information he had were enough for Count Bette's nephew to confirm that Creados must have existed for centuries.
Perhaps even a
