As the warm afternoon sunlight streamed through the skylight, Pendragon was contentedly grooming himself.

Pendragon stared at Arthur in shock, seemingly unable to believe Arthur could be so disgusting.

Faced with that shocked gaze, Arthur grinned wickedly and spread the drool around.

Immediately, the top of Pendragon's head was soaked.

If Pendragon had been shocked before, he was now petrified.

The kitty promptly collapsed, looking like he had lost all desire to live.

Arthur, however, roared with laughter.

Then, after settling into a comfortable position with Pendragon in his arms, the young Medium said softly-

"Meow, meow?"

Pendragon looked utterly bewildered, clearly still not back to his senses.

"As Daddy's kitty, you need to be adaptable and quick to react. Otherwise, you'll suffer badly. Sometimes...

"You might even lose your little life."

Arthur murmured to himself.

Then he said outright.

"That old pirate will definitely betray Horton!"

Pendragon immediately widened his eyes, disbelief filling them.
