Arthur had learned that lesson back in high school in his hometown, the first time someone cornered him in the bathroom.
He had also learned another lesson-
With a shit-covered mop in hand, you were an unstoppable warrior.
Relying on that unparalleled "psychological attack," Arthur had taken on four opponents at once.
That was when Arthur had learned something else.
You didn't actually have to be all that formidable, but you definitely had to look formidable.

To guard against retaliation, he had filled a small jar with lime powder and put it in his schoolbag.
Sure enough, Arthur had been cornered again.
Then he had pulled out the jar and flung its contents at the people opposite him, screaming at the top of his lungs, "Great-Granny, lend me your power!"
The four guys, blinded by the powder, had taken a terrible beating.
Afterward, Arthur had washed out the jar and filled it with powdered milk.
The next time they cornered him, Arthur had pulled out the powdered milk and started stuffing it into his mouth.
As he stuffed it in, he had roared.
"Great-Granny, lend me your power once more!"
Even now, Arthur still remembered the four guys' faces, looking as though someone had died in their families, along with that tiny trace of bewilderment, confusion, and sheer, overwhelming shock.
Especially when Arthur had pulled a pair of old-fashioned iron scissors from his schoolbag and charged wildly at them. One of them had outright wet himself.
In any case, Arthur's life had become much easier after that.
