Greisa never believed in foreknowledge.
So there was only one possible reason he had been discovered-
He had stepped into the Marquis of West Berlin's trap.
But the trap had not been set for him.
If it had been, the marquis would never have sent only his Chief Swordsman. Given his temperament, he would have mobilized everyone to trap Greisa here.
He might even have acted personally, just to be safe.
But none of that had happened.
That meant the marquis merely wanted him to recognize the difficulty and retreat.
Naturally, that was because of his father.
Greisa was well aware of that.
But he was even more certain that the Marquis of West Berlin had another target.
What it was, Greisa did not yet know.
But he knew it would be the key to turning his defeat into victory.
And so the Old Lion's eldest son immediately began making arrangements.
"Excellent! Excellent!"
Dale Bock was all smiles as he listened to his Torrent Squad's report.
The surprise attack on the Church of Pain had gone even more easily than expected.
Apart from the occasional resistance, everything had been smooth sailing.
Dale Bock was delighted with the situation.
Of course, the Inner River Church priest knew this was only temporary. The real battle would begin once the Church of Pain recovered from the shock.
Still, that did not stop the Inner River Church priest from building on their gains in the limited time available.
Only by killing more enemies could they reduce the pressure on their own side when the counterattack came.
And after the battle?
It would leave the enemy with fewer fighters as well.
In fact, if he had had more time, Dale Bock would have liked to let his men give the Church of Pain's
