And it had passed through many owners.
To attract more residents, each successive owner had repaired and expanded Dordot Harbor's existing sewers.
Although this still could not prevent some parts of Dordot Harbor from being covered in human waste, most areas remained reasonably clean.
However, this had caused the sewer workers considerable trouble.
The sewer workers, who had once worked alone, had long since begun moving in groups.
After several expansions, the sewers were not merely a dense, crisscrossing maze. Rumor had it that monsters lurked inside.
