Arthur had long since moved beyond mere curiosity about "that matter."

His ideal life was one with both cats and dogs, farming and drinking tea.
But there were always people who disturbed him.
Even unforeseen trouble would come knocking.
To put an end to that sort of thing, he could only rely on formidable strength as his foundation.
And then?
Plant everyone who came looking for trouble in the ground.
The earth would always embrace everything.
Whether you were right or wrong.
Once buried, you could rest in peace.
As for choosing the "Blood Scion"?
Wasn't this exactly what an alter ego was for?
When it wasn't appropriate for him to appear in person, an alter ego was the best choice.
And was there anyone more suitable than the "Blood Scion"?
A family with a long heritage.
Then, wiped out.
Surrounded by mysteries, too.
There was even a very strong chance that it was connected to "that matter."
Arthur placed particular importance on this point.
If there was no connection, it wouldn't stop him from learning about "that matter."
If there was a connection, so much the better.
It would make everything fall into place more naturally.
As for the possibility that the "Blood Clan" had been on excellent terms with "Death," making the message implausible?
Impossible.
Don't forget that the "Blood Clan" had been wiped out.
