The Land of Death.
Arthur watched everything from a bird's-eye view-
"Death"?!
The furious shout reached his ears, carrying information Arthur could not ignore.
The young Medium looked again at the old gentleman in the black formal suit. His eyes reflected that fathomless darkness, growing blacker still.
Silence.
Decay.
In the end, all returned to death.
It was the end of all things, yet also an entirely new beginning.
A new beginning born of singularity taken to its utmost limit drew Arthur's gaze almost involuntarily.
After the young Medium's Talent, [Breath of Death], flickered rapidly several times, that elusive yet inseparable connection made Arthur immediately understand the Talent that had suddenly appeared during his Baptism.
It came from "Death."
But...
Would "Death" really be so kind?
Impossible!
Absolutely not!
Arthur's [Spirituality] told him as much.
And in the next moment, it was confirmed-
The instant Arthur's Talent, [Breath of Death], flickered, the old gentleman in the black formal suit keenly detected something. He raised his head and scanned his surroundings.
He was searching for that trace of death.
His expression turned extremely ugly.
Because...
He had been fooled again.
"Old Charlie!"
"Death" growled.
But immediately afterward, he was engulfed by intense white radiance.
Not the white of pallor.
But the white of lightning.
A war hammer appeared in the middle-aged man's hand.
Amid crackling, bursting currents, the middle-aged man leaped high-
"'Death,' you traitor!"
The middle-aged man brought his war hammer crashing down, his roar becoming thunder.
Boom!
In that deathly silent land, a bolt of lightning descended from the sky, as though it would cleave the entire world apart.
But then it stopped abruptly.
The old gentleman raised his right hand.
Light flashed from the pure silver ring inlaid with bone.
A million wraiths surged forth.
Black as
