  • Joel Coleman planted his longsword in the ground and spread a force field that rejected and suppressed swords.

Carral and Jimte headed for a safe hiding place to await Hayes’s signal, unaware that a falcon watched them from above.

Jennifer recruited Ailier, Renee, Donna, Jo Lily, and Junis as apprentices of The Invisible after they returned to the history classroom. She led them toward the school auditorium while Jimte and Carral arrived outside St. Joan's Girls' Academy and stopped before entering.

  • Ailier persuaded the others to return, and the five students found Jennifer waiting for them in her white cloak.
