Natsuki arrived on Earth, defeated Leatherback, and agreed to help Marshal Stacker fight the Precursors. As Raleigh returned to piloting and Mako Mori emerged as his likely partner, the scientists outlined a plan to send a nuclear bomb through the Breach.

• Raleigh found Natsuki in the snow, gave him clothes, and brought him toward the Wall of Life as Natsuki explained his exile from the Land of Light.
• Leatherback broke through the Wall of Life and disabled the helicopter, so Natsuki transformed and drove the Kaiju into the sea before killing it on an uninhabited island.
• Marshal Stacker invited Natsuki to join the fight against the Precursors, and Raleigh overcame his guilt about his brother’s death and agreed to return as a Jaeger pilot.
• Natsuki negotiated food, clothing, lodging, and transportation in exchange for helping investigate the Precursors, then endured Dan Moroboshi’s punishing psychokinesis training.
• Quake learned that Ultraman had killed Leatherback and warned the Precursors that humanity’s weapons could pose a threat, while the Wall of Life chief minister backed Zachary Lyman’s remotely piloted Jaeger plan.
• Natsuki confronted Chuck Hansen after Chuck insulted him and Raleigh, then advised Old Hansen that Chuck’s behavior reflected a lack of affection.
• Raleigh defeated several candidates, sparred with Natsuki, and urged Mako Mori to fight him, leading Stacker to accept her as Raleigh’s likely Gipsy Danger partner.

Natsuki joined Marshal Stacker’s plan to destroy the Breach, while Albert revealed that outsiders were changing the world’s destiny. The Jaegers reached the Precursors’ world, where Natsuki transformed into Ultraman and defeated Yochi’s Super Kaiju, but Yochi survived as Ultraman turned toward him.

• Natsuki warned Albert of his power, agreed to cooperate with Marshal Stacker, and prepared to pilot Shaolin Rogue alone.
• During Gipsy Danger’s activation test, Mako Mori lost control through the Drift, and Natsuki used Shaolin Rogue to stop the Plasma Cannon from firing.
• Albert confessed that he was an outsider sent to save humanity and revealed that another outsider had joined the Precursors, just as a Kaiju attack began.
• Natsuki helped defeat the Kaiju assault near the base, while Raleigh and Mako Mori destroyed a mechanized Knifehead and the Breach expanded.
• Natsuki and the Jaegers fought Abomination and Poison Woman, then the Hansens carried Abomination through the Breach as their cover.
• The Precursors disabled Eureka Striker with EMP attacks and unleashed their Kaiju army, but Natsuki transformed into Ultraman and fought through the swarm.
• Yochi transferred his consciousness into a Category VI Super Kaiju and attacked Ultraman, who remained active beyond three minutes because he was no longer on Earth.
• Young Hansen detonated Eureka Striker’s nuclear bomb, and Ultraman shielded the escape pods before destroying the Super Kaiju, while Yochi survived and faced Ultraman’s gaze.
