The next day, it was almost noon by the time Cheng Yu woke up in the hotel. Luo Xia had contacted him the night before to say he would be undergoing intensive training at the Special Affairs Bureau Headquarters.
That left Cheng Yu free to spend these three days however he liked. Standing before the hotel's floor-to-ceiling window, he looked out at the buildings of Capital City and sighed.
"I really don't know why so many people like living in big cities."
With that, he drew the curtains and began meditating. He hadn't eaten any Weirds in ages, and his strength had been stagnating. That wouldn't do. Besides, he couldn't afford to neglect his fundamentals.
While Cheng Yu sat meditating in his hotel room, things were much more eventful on Luo Xia's end.
Luo Xia had been careful when reporting his abilities, saying he specialized in dealing with energy-type Weirds and certain physical Weirds. After he demonstrated his ability against a ghost, the staff member recorded his information, despite being amazed by Luo Xia's Mecha ability.
