Then he would serve as a guinea pig to test exactly how strong Yuri Constantine was.
If anything happened to him, the Bloated Daughter would use her special traits and a fragment of her wondrous item, an authority fragment, to resurrect him.
The two Weird Kings would then take on Yuri Constantine together. If both Weird Kings failed, they would activate their ultimate plan and summon the King of the End.
What Cheng Yu saw was the Bloated Daughter waving her fan, after which a massive tentacle sprouted from each of the corpses scattered throughout Sea City.
Then the tentacles controlled the corpses as though they were the true bodies, making them converge on the Dark Man's remains.
The Bloated Daughter was somewhat puzzled that Yuri Constantine had not taken the opportunity to attack her, but since he was doing nothing, she certainly would not sit idle.
The sense of dread was slowly fading, but Cheng Yu was already hesitating. That unmistakable dread had been a warning from his soul premonition and his bodily instincts.
