Looking at the newspaper reporting that all four Members of Parliament had gathered in Southern District Thirteen, Cheng Yu felt something was wrong, but he could not put his finger on it.
Then a thought flashed through his mind. All four Members of Parliament-what about Prime Minister Feis?
Cheng Yu had not forgotten that, before the election began, Feis had been the one holding all the power. It would be all too easy for Feis to do something during this final stretch.
Cheng Yu also knew that Feis had been the first Disciple of the Divine Emperor among the Cabinet members. Most importantly, Feis was participating in the election too. The election consisted of two stages: first, they would tally the votes for the four Members of Parliament, and whoever had the most votes would face Feis in a competitive speech.
After the competitive speech, whoever received more votes-Feis or that Member of Parliament-would become Prime Minister.
That was right. Feis only needed to win a single competitive speech. But would he weaken the other Members of Parliament while they were giving their speeches, limiting the tactics his eventual opponent could use against him?
Cheng Yu knew that if he were Feis, he definitely would!
And Dermot, who now controlled two voting districts, would be his primary target.
At that thought, Cheng Yu's expression darkened. Damn it. One moment of carelessness, and I made myself a target.
He did not know whether Dermot was aware of this danger, but Cheng Yu hoped he could withstand Feis's encirclement.
Just as Cheng Yu was following the battle in Southern District Thirteen, a monster rushed in to report to him.
"Mr. Yuri!! Something's happened!!"
Looking at the monster, Cheng Yu narrowed his eyes. Had the enemy decided to strike Northern District Six first?
