Cheng Yu and the others had been inside for almost two days.
Over those two days, Dile and the two girls accompanying him had been having a wonderfully relaxing time, playing around and catching little animals from the Subdimensional Space whenever they got hungry.
Everyone else had come to complete a mission, but this guy was here on vacation. Of course, Cheng Yu was enjoying himself too, running wild everywhere with Dile.
The only serious person among them was Bennett, but he never complained along the way or asked Dile how the mission was progressing.
Somewhere in the Subdimensional Space, Jimmy watched Dile's team's progress in a room full of surveillance monitors, his mouth twitching.
The mission was merely a pretext. The real assessment tested each student's ability to adapt. As long as they picked a direction and kept walking, they would encounter a signpost, and following its directions would lead them to the exit.
But at the exit, upperclassmen and a few instructors were posing as members of cult organizations. They would give these freshmen a brutal lesson and urge them to join their cult, with death as the alternative.
Naturally, this tested the freshmen's resolve. An elite university had no use for cowards who would do anything to save their own skins.
Most of the freshmen were already heading toward the finish line. Only Dile's team was practically going in circles.
Jimmy rubbed his chin thoughtfully.
"Looks like we'll have to take the initiative with this team."
Wearing swimming trunks, Dile leaped out of the lake with two fish weighing seven or eight pounds each in his hands.
Cheng Yu caught the fish Dile tossed him, then deftly scaled and deboned them, skewered them on sticks, and set them over the fire to roast. Beside him, Ning
