At Doggy's answer, a bitter look crossed Cheng Yu's already cracked face.
"What the fuck are we supposed to do now?! We've both thrown everything we've got at him! We're like donkeys that have run out of tricks!"

After saying that, Grete let out a helpless sigh.
"If we have no other choice, I'll fucking go back and..."
Before he could finish, Cheng Yu interrupted him.
"Wear him down some more? Look at the state you're in. Even your mother might not recognize you."
Cheng Yu could hardly be blamed. Doggy really was a pitiful sight now. Not only was one leg broken, but half his upper body was gone, and even his head had been battered out of shape. He looked nothing like a Demon Sovereign anymore. If he hadn't been an Epic Creature, he would have dropped dead long ago.
Grete gritted his teeth.
"That sneaky old bastard forced some of his sloth rule into my body. Otherwise, how could I have been put at such a disadvantage?"
Just as he finished speaking, the brilliant light in the distance faded.
Belial wasn't in good shape either. One of his long horns had snapped, the dark green crystalline spine at his throat lay exposed, his tail had been severed, and several gaping holes riddled his chest. One leg was broken and hung limply.
