Shen Qian took the documents Cheng Yu handed her.
As she read, Shen Qian grew increasingly pale. Her first instinct was to say it was impossible, but then she remembered that her second brother was not someone who would stoop to fabricating something like this.

Cheng Yu, however, spoke unhurriedly.

"Cut ties with that human. Can you do that?"

Cheng Yu closed his eyes and drew a deep breath. Honestly, he was nearly out of patience. The evidence was irrefutable; this was plainly a plot by Humankind. Did being lovesick mean losing every scrap of intelligence?

Cheng Yu opened his eyes, looked at Shen Qian, and continued.
"Let me ask you this: are you truly determined to get involved with that human?"
Shen Qian could not quite meet Cheng Yu's gaze. She turned her head aside and answered faintly.
"Yes..."

"Even if it means losing everything you have now, giving up everything you own?"
After a long hesitation, Shen Qian lowered her head and answered again.
"Yes..."
Cheng Yu pressed a hand to his forehead and said helplessly,
