Opening his eyes, Cheng Yu spotted two suspicious figures sitting nearby, muttering to each other.

"I never thought I'd run into two damned bastards here."
Cheng Yu frowned slightly.
"Members of the Demon Race?"
Niu Ba answered,
"No, Half-Demons. And not ordinary Half-Demons, either. They're Half-Demons from Broken Heart."
"Broken Heart?"
Cheng Yu then learned from Niu Ba what this so-called Broken Heart was.
It was a Half-Demon organization. As mentioned before, after Shen Yu transformed himself into a barrier, the large-scale conflict between Humankind and Monsterkind had largely subsided. In the Southern Continent, with its special status, exchanges between the two races had flourished even more than before.
With the unparalleled populations of these two dominant races, melodramatic love stories-or accidents-were bound to happen.
And so a unique mixed-blood group had been born: Half-Demons.
As the leading race of heaven and earth, Humankind deeply discriminated against Half-Demons, viewing them as products that polluted human bloodlines.
