Fuzhou City in Baiyue Prefecture, Southern Continent, was the largest and most prosperous city belonging to Humankind in the Southern Continent. It was Cheng Yu's destination after leaving the Post Station. With Niu Ba running flat out the entire way, Cheng Yu finally reached a mountaintop outside Fuzhou City.
The setting sun shone like gold over the ancient city, draping it in dazzling splendor. It resembled an immense treasure, radiating endless allure and prosperity.
Just before the deadline, Cheng Yu rode Niu Ba into Fuzhou City.
As he passed through the long, narrow gateway, a scene of flourishing prosperity unfolded before his eyes.
The streets were broad and clean, lined with neatly arranged buildings. Shops stood side by side beneath high-hanging signs, their wares displayed in a dazzling array. People moved through the streets, some hurrying on their way, others strolling leisurely, their faces brimming with contentment and joy.
The street leading from the gate stretched farther than the eye could see, but the most striking sight was an artificial canal lined with willows on both banks. The last rays of sunlight spilled over its surface, making the rippling water shimmer beautifully. Fishing boats, merchant vessels, and pleasure boats crowded the canal, traveling back and forth in a busy yet orderly flow.
Before Cheng Yu could marvel at Fuzhou City's prosperity, he encountered another familiar face.
"Fellow Daoist Yun?!"
Though puzzled by the person before him, Cheng Yu still offered a courteous Daoist bow.

Indeed, it was Ji Han. She was still dressed as a Demon Suppression Guard and was riding a horse at the head of a group. Behind them followed a luxurious carriage drawn by black Scale Horses. They seemed to be there to welcome someone.
