Snow Spirit's earlier odd behavior seemed to have been nothing more than an illusion. After Cheng Yu flicked her forehead in his Sigma persona, she traded a few indignant words with him, then went back to her usual carefree self, frolicking everywhere.
Watching her carefree antics, Cheng Yu sighed helplessly. Still, she saved him a great deal of worry. When she learned they were moving, Snow Spirit said only one thing.
"Wherever you go, Yuyu, I'll go too."
Then Cheng Yu packed the courtyard and melon field into a thumb-sized glass ball and tossed it into System Space before setting off with Snow Spirit.
Cheng Yu watched Shen Bai and Shen Xuan's battle outside the Firmament for a while, then lost interest. At their level of strength, a fight could last any length of time. He had only been able to detect it with the system's help, and watching it did little more than give him a visual treat. He might as well keep traveling.
Their destination was the area around Fuzhou City in West Sea Prefecture.
That had been Shen Bai's first stop after arriving in Humankind Territory. Although there was still some chance Shen Bai might return to Fuzhou City in West Sea Prefecture, he probably wouldn't come here for a good long while, at least. Cheng Yu could take his time here thinking about what he wanted to do next.
Or, rather, how to keep enjoying himself.
Oh, and there was another piece of good news for Cheng Yu: since they'd headed out, Snow Spirit seemed to have completely forgotten her beloved women's fiction.
"Hey!"
Cheng Yu planted a hand on her head, stopping her headlong charge. Looking at Snow Spirit, who was like a half-grown child, he said helplessly,
"How many times have I told you?
