Cheng Yu spoke expressionlessly.
"I don't need that."
The woman's voice remained gentle.
"No, you do."
Cheng Yu knew he probably couldn't hide the fact that he was a novice Legendary anymore. That made sense. He really didn't know anything, after all. Perhaps something he'd done had given him away.
That realization made Cheng Yu sigh inwardly. He could count as an old monster himself, but compared to these veteran Legendaries who roamed the sea of worlds, he was still a little green.
Seeing that Cheng Yu had fallen silent, the woman continued.
"Anyone who becomes a True God must possess extraordinary talent, but the Myriad Heavens Sea is simply too vast. Even if we exhausted our imaginations, we could not describe its immensity. True Gods may be rare, but there are still quite a few in this sea of worlds.
Above True Gods are High Gods, and above High Gods are the Unique Ones. The Unique Ones are the pillars that sustain the sea of worlds.
You could say that the sea of worlds continues to exist because of the Unique Ones.
And long before antiquity, most of the Unique Ones established the Pantheon.
By the will of the Unique Ones, the Pantheon governs the Myriad Heavens Sea. All True Gods, or factions possessing the destructive power of a True God, must obey its regulations."
Cheng Yu remained expressionless, but inwardly he muttered to himself. These Legendaries didn't seem to know all that much either.
