Through the viewing scope, Shiki stared down at the village in shock. "You're telling me that's just a village down there?!"
"Yeah! That's what the nautical chart says! Cocoyasi Village. It's right!" Blondie pulled a nautical chart from behind his back and studied it carefully, then looked at Shiki in confusion.
Shiki's face darkened. "You idiot! With those tall buildings and that size, you're telling me it's a village?!" He smacked Blondie hard on the head.
Blondie felt thoroughly wronged. "It's right! Doesn't the map say Cocoyasi Village?!"
Shiki was speechless at Blondie's aggrieved expression. His subordinates left him helpless, too. This was one reason he didn't want to clash with the Four Emperors of the New World. Their officers were all close to admiral-level strength, while he had only a handful of nobodies under him.
Ignoring Blondie, who was still sulking beside him, Shiki resumed observing Cocoyasi Village. "The East Blue really has changed! Even a village is almost as wealthy as a thriving town in the New World! No wonder it's become the center of the world," he marveled quietly.
"Captain, why don't we go down and plunder it? The boys haven't had a score in ages!" Blondie put his feelings aside and egged Shiki on.
Shiki pondered for a moment, feeling somewhat tempted. He had no objection to his men wanting to plunder. They were pirates, after all.
"All right! Tell the boys to get ready. We'll raid this village and give the East Blue a little greeting! Let the name Shiki ring out across these waters again! Hahaha!" Shiki agreed with wild laughter. He had felt far too stifled lately. It was time to cut loose!
"Yes, Regiment Commander!" Blondie ran excitedly out of the observation room to tell the pirates to prepare for a big
