Gul'dan picked up the magic array from the ground and spread his now-free left palm. A surge of green energy shot toward the ancient black gate towering between heaven and earth. Ripples spread through its center like waves, and then the space within the black gate became like a mirror.
Through that mirror, the Orcs could clearly see a world unlike their own gloomy realm on the verge of destruction: towering trees, a clear blue sky, white clouds drifting overhead, and occasionally
animals darting past, all of which made the Orcs' breathing quicken.
"This is the gate to the New World. Only a few feeble races live there, so weak they cannot even match our children. Only powerful races deserve to rule the world. Conquer them! Kill them! Prove the greatness of us Orcs with their blood, and rebuild the glory of our mighty people on their land!"
Under the corrupting influence of powerful fel energy, the Orcs, already tainted by demon blood, grew even more frenzied and bloodthirsty.
"Kill! Kill! Kill!"
Their earthshaking cries resounded across the sky, sending waves of savage force rolling outward in every direction.
"Move out!" Gul'dan shifted slightly aside and pointed toward the gate. The Horde warriors, already prepared, brandished their weapons and marched excitedly toward it, their footsteps shaking the earth. An unstoppable green torrent began pouring through the Dark Portal.
Durotan stood with his clan, silently watching the scene. "This suddenly reminds me of the Draenei."
"Why bring them up?" Orgrim asked in confusion. "Isn't their land already Horde territory?"
Durotan looked thoughtfully toward the Dark Portal. "Nothing but useless land. I hope there really is a good place on the other side where our clan can thrive."
