What Llane did not know was that Medivh, far away in Karazhan, was watching the scene as well. Medivh was seething with savage fury. At the sight of the enormous warship floating in the sky, he knew his invasion of Azeroth was about to face another major upheaval.
As one of the Titans who possessed divine power in the universe, he had naturally seen such high-tech creations before. Precisely because he had seen them, he understood that the Orcs, whose civilization was still at a primitive tribal stage, could never stand against an enemy with such advanced technology.
Across all of Azeroth, an army like this could almost be called invincible. As he silently watched the images transmitted through the magical water mirror, Medivh's expression grew increasingly grim.
While Medivh was silently considering how to respond, someone wearing golden armor aboard the warship opened his helmet and looked straight at him. To Medivh, that gaze was utterly hateful. It was the same look he wore when toying with lowly creatures, full of mockery and disdain.
In the water mirror, the handsome young man narrowed his eyes, the corners of his mouth lifting slightly. Then his lips moved. "So you're the rat lurking in the dark, pulling all the strings. I've finally found you. You'd better not run, you filthy, pathetic creature."
A voice dripping with disdain rang throughout Karazhan. Medivh's expression changed instantly in shock. "Damn you! Insignificant insects, what can you accomplish with your lowly bloodlines? Tremble and despair before the great Titan, Sargeras!"
"Really? I hope you can still say that in a moment." The handsome man's narrowed eyes suddenly snapped open. "Sacred armor, activate! Five Senses deprivation!"
Medivh, who had been laughing wildly, suddenly froze. The world before his eyes twisted, then began sinking into endless darkness.
