"Sabo, have you reached the Legion Commander?!" Feeling his holy power drain away without pause, Naruto couldn't help shouting the question.
"The Legion Commander replied. They'll be here soon. Everyone, hold on a little longer." Sabo wasn't having an easy time either. He hadn't expected the monster before them to be so troublesome. Even the combined strength of forty thousand members of the Holy Light Clerics Legion could barely keep him trapped.
Watching the golden chains gradually stretch under his strength, N'Zoth released a stream of cruel, excited whispers from his enormous mouth.
"You ants dare offend a god? I, the great Old God N'Zoth, will plunge every last one of you into an endless curse!"
The clerics had to endure not only the tremendous drain on their holy power, but also N'Zoth's mental attacks. It was an agonizing ordeal. Fortunately, despite the enormous consumption, their sheer numbers meant they could hold on for a while longer.
Propping himself up on his tentacles, N'Zoth gradually thrust his octopus-like head out and fixed the clerics with a vicious stare.
More than a dozen golden pillars of light suddenly descended before him. N'Zoth's vicious expression froze, and an inexplicable fear began spreading through his heart. He quickly forced it back down. He was an Old God. Aside from the Titans, there was little in this world he feared.
Still, his previously contemptuous gaze grew wary.
"Your Holiness!" The clerics in the hall performed the Holy Light Salute to Ria in unison.
"Thank you for your efforts, everyone. Let this big fellow go! I'll take it from here!" Ria's cool voice
