"River!"
Drake's low voice rang out. His eyes stayed fixed on the man before him, and his entire body went on guard in an instant.
"The Marines really have let loose someone incredible!"
He sighed softly, his gaze already sharp.
They had once both been Marines, even joining in the same intake, but times had changed. Now, their reunion was an entirely different affair.
"That's a lot of hostility!"
"I heard you became a pirate. What a shame!"
River smiled and shook his head, then stepped toward the pirates before him.
"Perhaps. This was a choice I made!"
Drake said gravely.
As the man approached, an immense, mountain-like pressure swept over Drake and his crewmates, putting them all on edge.
"I hope you can survive me!"
As those casual words rang out, River's figure suddenly blurred.
His white Justice Cape fluttered, the wind abruptly roared, and he vanished from Drake and the others' sight.
"He's gone!"
Drake's pupils contracted. His body rapidly transformed into a fierce-looking dinosaur.
Yet in the next second, a figure was already above his head.
"You really do look like a monster like this, Drake!"
River said with a smile.
"Compared to me, you're far more of a monster!"
Drake replied coldly, swinging both claws fiercely into the air.
Above him, River casually kicked out with his right foot.
Bang!
The seemingly gentle kick met the dinosaur's claws with a dull crash. The massive dinosaur skidded across the ground, leaving a clear trail before slamming into a nearby wall and collapsing an entire section.
"What terrifying strength! Even the captain's animal form can't stand up to him?"
The Drake Pirates' eyes widened in horror.
"Phew!"
Drake drew a deep breath, his face grim.
His opponent attacked casually, yet Drake had to respond with everything he had.
