"Let's hurry. Since he sent you to rescue us, he must have something else planned, right?"
Sanjuan Wolf spoke in a deep, muffled voice.

Marshall D. Teach froze.
"Hurry up and get us out of here! I can't wait to see the world outside!"
Avalo Pizarro said impatiently.
"True enough. Getting out of here should be our first priority!"
Marshall D. Teach said with a broad grin.
Behind him, Van Augur wore a grave expression tinged with doubt. He moved to Marshall D. Teach's side and lowered his voice.
"That fellow seems to have mistaken us for someone else."
"Could someone else be coming here to rescue them?"
Walking at the head of the group, Marshall D. Teach narrowed his eyes. He considered those words for a moment, then laughed.
"Even if someone is, I'm the one who saved him now."
"He owes me, so he ought to listen to me!"
Van Augur paused, then nodded.
The reasoning seemed sound, yet he still felt something was wrong.
These men had been far too calm after being rescued, as though it were only natural-as though they had stayed here simply waiting to be freed.
