With just one arm, he stopped Jack the Drought's full-force charge and stomp.
The difference in their size was enormous. Beneath the massive mammoth's foot, River looked utterly tiny.

Jack let out a low grunt, white vapor streaming from his trunk as fury blazed in his eyes.

Dust rose, obscuring Jack's figure. Only after a long while did he roll over and struggle back to his feet.

His furious roar rang out, shaking the dust on the ground.

Worried by what he saw, Queen started forward, but King grabbed him and stopped him.
"King!"
Queen turned to him in confusion.
King shook his head. "He'll be fine. But this is the perfect opportunity to test River's strength."
