Kabuto spoke cautiously. He felt that this man from the Namikaze Clan was difficult to get along with, even though Teacher Sui had said he was very trustworthy.
"This is Fugaku, the head of the Uchiha Clan. The boy beside him is his son, Uchiha Itachi."
Kabuto offered the reminder cautiously.
Doflamingo turned at those words, tilted his head, and broke into a grin. "Fufufufufufu!"
"So, you're Clan Head Fugaku."
Uchiha Fugaku frowned at that strange laugh. "You're the man Sui left behind to handle the Namikaze Clan's affairs?"
"Namikaze Suimei?"
"Although that name feels rather strange to me, yes, that's me."
Doflamingo smiled.
His right hand suddenly twitched, and threads invisible to the naked eye shot out, wrapping around Itachi.
"Father!"
Almost instantly, Uchiha Itachi cried out in terror.
He lost control of his body. His right hand drew the kunai at his waist, and he leaped up to stab Fugaku in the neck.
But at his young age, he posed no threat to Fugaku. With a single movement, Fugaku caught Itachi and pinned his arms behind his back, leaving him unable to move.
Doflamingo's fingers trembled slightly. Finding that he could no longer make Itachi move, he laughed again.
"Fufufufufufu!"
"I suppose I shouldn't underestimate any of you."
Uchiha Fugaku looked at the tall man opposite him, whose appearance, words, and manner were all so peculiar. His eyes were icy.
"That was hardly polite of you, Namikaze Suimei!"
Doflamingo withdrew the threads from his hand and grinned. "I just wanted to see whether you had the strength to work with me, Clan Head Fugaku."
"Strength?"
Uchiha Fugaku's expression turned cold. He hadn't expected to be underestimated.
The next instant, his eyes shifted, and three tomoe appeared. Then the tomoe stretched, rapidly transforming into the Mangekyō Sharingan.
