River laughed and strode forward.

His figure blurred, and his feet struck in rapid succession as he stepped straight up the body of a ninja in front of him and vaulted into the air.

Then River plunged among them like a tiger into a flock of sheep, sending figures flying with every swing of his fists. His blows struck with the weight of a mountain, dragging everyone he hit across the ground like sacks for long stretches.
He raised his head, looked at the densely packed figures ahead, and grinned again.
"There certainly are a lot of you!"
