Chapter Summaries

River brought powerful fighters and soldiers from the Freedom Empire into Konoha to support the coming war. After Uchiha Fugaku learned that the four nations’ army had gathered near the Forest of Konoha, Crocodile led the reinforcements toward the front lines.

• Uchiha Fugaku watched Enel and numerous other powerful fighters emerge from the vortex, including Sanjuan Wolf, Marco, Dracule Mihawk, and others.
• River arrived and told Fugaku that a million troops, including around a hundred thousand elite soldiers, were ready to enter the shinobi world.
• Hyuga Hiashi observed the strangers in Konoha and judged that many of them were stronger than the local shinobi.
• Three days later, Fugaku reported that the four nations had gathered their forces near the Forest of Konoha, and River ordered Freedom’s army to enter the world.
• Crocodile organized the arriving soldiers into defensive positions as the Imperial Intelligence Organization led by Rob Lucci crossed over.
• Crocodile led the army toward Konoha’s front lines as the shinobi prepared for battle.

Konoha faced a four-front invasion, and River met with Orochimaru before the fighting began. On the western front, Crocodile confronted Rasa and their battle escalated into a clash of sand techniques.

• Uchiha Fugaku and River assessed the four-nation encirclement as Orochimaru arrived and questioned River about his reinforcements from other worlds.
• Crocodile joined Might Guy on the western front, where Guy warned him that Rasa could also control sand.
• Rasa ordered a probing attack, and Crocodile charged into the Sand Shinobi, shrugging off weapons that passed through his sand body.
• Crocodile used Desert Coffin to bury and desiccate many Sand Shinobi, then advanced toward Rasa after seeing him wield Gold Dust.

Crocodile overwhelmed Rasa with immense sand attacks on the western front, while Enel struck Fourth Raikage A with lightning on the eastern front. Both fronts faced powerful unknown enemies, and A remained standing after Enel’s attack.

• Crocodile emerged unharmed after Rasa buried him beneath a vast torrent of sand.
• Crocodile sent a sand tornado at Rasa, who blocked it with a wall of sand controlled by his Magnet Release.
• Crocodile unleashed Great Sandstorm Burial, collapsing Rasa’s barrier and engulfing him in sand as Rasa worried about the other fronts.
• Enel hovered above the Kumogakure forces as Fourth Raikage A challenged him and told the Third Hokage and Danzo to use their abilities and support.
• Enel struck A with Divine Punishment, but A survived the lightning and looked up at Enel with a grave expression.

Fujitora Issho summoned a meteorite against Ōnoki's forces, but the Third Tsuchikage slowed it and destroyed half with Dust Release. Ōnoki led his shinobi into battle, and Fujitora struck him with overwhelming gravity, sending him hurtling backward.

• Fourth Raikage A rallied the eastern front and charged the airborne enemy as lightning erupted across the sky.
• Fujitora Issho brought down a massive meteorite over the northern front, forcing Ōnoki to rise and counter it.
• Ōnoki slowed the meteorite with Earth Release and destroyed half of it with Dust Release, lifting the morale of his shinobi.
• Fujitora advanced while Ōnoki rallied the Land of Earth shinobi and launched an attack.
• Ōnoki used Moving Earth Core against Fujitora's Raging Tiger, but Fujitora's gravity crushed the rising earth pillar.
• Fujitora's next sword strike overwhelmed Ōnoki and sent him flying backward.

Fujitora and Golden Lion Shiki devastated the shinobi forces on separate battle lines as the fighting spread across the Forest of Konoha. At the command camp, Hiruzen Sarutobi and Danzo summoned the dead with Impure World Reincarnation, and the first coffin revealed Uchiha Madara.

• Fujitora sent Ōnoki flying with a single slash, then the forces on his battlefield charged into combat.
• Golden Lion Shiki confronted Mei Terumi, avoided her attack, and cut a vast ravine through the forest with his Slash Wave.
• Mei Terumi realized the enemy was an unknown force, and battles erupted along all four fronts.
• Uchiha Fugaku voiced concern that the enemy might attack the command camp, and River agreed the possibility could not be dismissed.
• Hiruzen Sarutobi and Danzo summoned coffins containing the departed shinobi with Impure World Reincarnation.
• The first coffin opened to reveal Uchiha Madara.

Danzo and Hiruzen summoned Madara Uchiha and many of the Shinobi World's dead Kage through Impure World Reincarnation to fight Namikaze Sui and the Uchiha Clan. The resurrected warriors accepted the mission and advanced into the forest to begin the operation.

• Madara Uchiha emerged from his coffin and realized that Danzo and Hiruzen had summoned him under unexpected circumstances.
• Hashirama Senju, Tobirama Senju, and numerous past Kage awakened from the surrounding coffins.
• Danzo and Hiruzen explained that Namikaze Sui and Konoha's Uchiha Clan had caused a crisis, while the other four nations attacked Konoha.
• Tobirama confirmed that he and Hashirama had faced Namikaze Sui, and Hiruzen warned that Sui might surpass Hashirama and Madara at their peaks.
• Madara agreed to move forward, and Danzo ordered the resurrected warriors to begin the operation.

Madara Uchiha and the resurrected Kage led an attack through Konoha’s forest toward the camp, where River prepared to meet them with his fighters. River and Madara came face-to-face again as the advance reached the camp.

• Madara Uchiha, Hashirama Senju, Tobirama Senju, and the other Kage attacked Konoha’s defensive line, and Madara swiftly killed the ninjas in his path.
• Hashirama Senju rebuked Madara Uchiha’s brutality, while Tobirama Senju urged the group to push into the forest and confront River and the others.
• At Konoha’s camp, River told Uchiha Fugaku that they would show the attackers their strength and headed out to meet them.
• Redfield sent Roger and Newgate forward first, and the gathered fighters followed toward the battlefield.
• Madara Uchiha halted when he encountered River, and the two men acknowledged each other.

River fought Madara Uchiha, then faced a gathering of resurrected Kage and other renowned shinobi. When Madara and Hashirama Senju moved against him, River revealed the power of the nine Tailed Beasts and launched an attack at everyone present.

• River and Madara Uchiha exchanged Taijutsu and Fire and Water Style techniques without either gaining the advantage.
• Hashirama Senju and a group of resurrected shinobi arrived, and Hashirama warned them that River had defeated him and Tobirama Senju.
• Madara Uchiha summoned his Susanoo and attacked River, who blocked its sword with one hand.
• Hashirama Senju charged to help Madara, and River challenged them to attack together.
• River revealed nine Tailed Beast tails and fired Tailed Beast Bombs toward every Kage-level fighter present.

River overwhelmed Hashirama Senju, Madara Uchiha, and the other reincarnated fighters with his immense power. Madara absorbed Hashirama’s senjutsu chakra and released himself from Impure World Reincarnation, restoring his living body as he prepared to fight River at his peak.

• River pierced two opponents with his chakra tails and battled the others while summoning a Susanoo.
• Hashirama Senju attacked River with Sage Art: Wood Release: True Several Thousand Hands, and Madara Uchiha launched Yasaka Magatama, but River blocked both attacks.
• River summoned ten Thousand-Armed Kannon Statues and battered Hashirama Senju and Madara Uchiha until they fell, though their reincarnated bodies healed.

• River and Madara exchanged gravitational techniques, and River destroyed Madara’s Planetary Devastation with Tailed Beast Bombs before summoning a meteor with Tengai Shinsei.
• Hashirama Senju caught the meteor with Deep Forest Emergence, but Whitebeard arrived and shattered it with a punch that split space and crumbled several Impure World Reincarnation bodies.
• Whitebeard, Roger, and their companions charged the Kage-level fighters, and Tobirama Senju ordered the revived warriors to engage them.
• Madara recognized that River and the newcomers came from another world, but he rejected River’s invitation and attacked him.

River defeated Madara, gathered the Nine Tailed Beasts, and used the Ten-Tails’ power to end the war and establish Konoha’s rule over the shinobi world. Afterward, he invited Madara, Hashirama, and the others to travel with him through portals to other worlds, and they agreed to set sail.

• River struck Madara down with a blow from the Eight Gates Formation, then offered him the chance to explore other worlds.
• River subdued the remaining Tailed Beasts, merged with the Ten-Tails, and ended the fighting across the Four Battle Lines.
• Konoha unified the Five Great Nations over the next three months, while Namikaze Sui disappeared from public view.
• River opened portals showing worlds including Bleach, Dragon Ball, Hunter x Hunter, and Demon Slayer, and invited the resurrected shinobi to join him.
• Madara, Hashirama, Minato, and most of the others agreed to seek greater power and wonders, and River led them toward the portals.

River arrived on Planet Vegeta and copied a Saiyan’s bloodline, which his system enhanced into a legendary Saiyan bloodline. After overwhelming the local Saiyans with his power, he asked to meet King Vegeta and agreed to follow Bardock.

• River crossed Planet Vegeta’s desert for three days and reached a small Saiyan town.
• A Saiyan approached River, and River used his system to copy the man’s bloodline.
• River’s system upgraded the bloodline to a legendary Saiyan rank, raising his power until the Saiyan’s scouter exploded.
• River demanded to know where King Vegeta was and threatened the Saiyan with an energy wave.
• Bardock introduced himself and offered to take River to King Vegeta, and River accepted.
