As the Hynth turned into a Squig Beast, a Waaagh! Field naturally appeared around it, exactly like that of any ordinary Ork creature.
"Can you turn into other things?" Cheng Mingrui asked out of curiosity.
"Yes!" The Hynth was delighted. It was like a child: as long as an adult was willing to play with it, it was happy.
Then Cheng Mingrui learned just how diverse biological forms could be! The Hynth transformed into all kinds of creatures, from Orks to Aeldari, as well as reptiles, mammals, crustaceans, birds, and mollusks!
With the fight over, many of the Orks watching in front of the screen dispersed. Only a handful of Orks, Clever Git, and some Gretchin were still watching.
"It's actually a Squig. That's bloody amazing—it can fight Boss Slick and turn into all those different things," some of the Orks marveled.
Clever Git looked deeply unhappy. He felt threatened. He was Boss Slick's only follower, and he had beaten every other Gretchin who tried to compete with him before they could get anywhere. He hadn't expected a new rival to pop up out of nowhere.
The Hynth transformed into a mount and crouched down, waiting for Cheng Mingrui to climb onto its back. Their brawl had wrecked Cheng Mingrui's Power Armour, and he really did need a mount to get around.
The hidden Laboratory was in the deepest part of the folded space. Leaving this place and returning to his workshop to build another suit of Power Armour would take quite some time.
Once Cheng Mingrui sat on its back, the Hynth began running happily. Cheng Mingrui guided it through the psychic link in his mind.
"Now that you're alive, do you have any plans?" Cheng Mingrui asked the Hynth.
