Kuka, you can do it

"Waaagh!" Cleverhead hurled his Power Klaw, smashing it into the turret's base and reducing the turret to a tilted heap of scrap.

Then he pulled the Power Klaw back with magnetism and locked it firmly onto his hand. "You stinkin' Humies, I'm gonna smash you to bits! To bits!"

Bang, bang, bang! Japhard took advantage of the moment Cleverhead recalled his Power Klaw to fire three shots through the barrier, but unfortunately, they could not penetrate Cleverhead's power armor.

"Shut up, beast! For the Emperor! You will die here!" Japhard answered.

The Commissar had barely finished speaking when a searing melta blast struck Cleverhead's yellow barrier. Like the Commissar's fury made manifest, it drove Cleverhead back several steps.

"Fall back and hold the front line. I'll keep this beast occupied." Japhard waved off the Astra Militarum soldiers who wanted to return to support him. The front line was just as dangerous now.

Then he advanced alone, holding his gun in one hand and firing relentlessly at the barrier as he strode resolutely toward Cleverhead.

To cover Commissar Japhard, the Kasrkin coordinated their fire even more effectively, forcing Cleverhead to crouch low. He no longer even dared to attack with his Power Klaw.

At that moment, sounds of fighting also erupted at the front of the defensive line. Just as Japhard had predicted, the Orks had launched an assault.

Judging by the earlier fighting, barring any surprises, holding the front line should not have been too difficult, since hardly any troops had been pulled away.

But surprises always came in unexpected ways.

The troops conducting the diversionary attack had been wiped out, and Cheng Mingrui had also gauged the defenders' approximate firepower.

He crouched until he was at eye level with Kuka and patiently instructed him, "Kuka, you're the messenger of Gork and Mork. Your mental power is incredibly strong. Whatever you want to do, you can make it happen!"

"I'm the messenger of Gork and Mork...?" Kuka repeated in bewilderment.

"That's right. Don't you often hear Gork and Mork whispering in your ears? They say you can do it, you've got what it takes!" Cheng Mingrui sweet-talked him like a pyramid scheme ringleader.

Confidence took root in Kuka's heart. "Yeah, I can hear stuff. I'm the messenger of Gork and Mork. I'm not a Weirdo, I'm just more special than the other Boyz!"

Green Waaagh! energy gathered in Kuka's eyes like a viscous liquid, and his power steadily rose.

"The Humies on the other side of the passage are bad guys. Gork and Mork want us to smash 'em, and now you can get strong enough to send us over there!" This was why Cheng Mingrui was coaxing Kuka along. Psykers could tear through space and teleport objects over short distances.

As long as Kuka outdid himself and sent him and the twenty-odd Mega Bosses beside him deep into the human positions, they could coordinate with Cleverhead and turn it into a slaughter.

This was not some random decision. On the way here, Cheng Mingrui had personally seen Kuka teleport an Ork Boy who had called him a Weirdo into the deck.

With half his body trapped inside the deck and half sticking out, that Boy had screamed pitifully. Afterward, none of the Boyz dared to mock Kuka.

"I feel the power. I feel strong, real Waaagh! I hear Gork and Mork sayin' the Humies are gonna get smashed, gonna get busted to bits!"

A powerful surge of green energy enveloped Cheng Mingrui and the Mega Bosses beside him. He was very pleased, and before teleporting, he specifically ordered the Boyz under his command to launch an all-out assault as soon as they left. They were to charge into the passage, with not a single Boy staying behind.

Before he could finish speaking, all that remained was Cheng Mingrui's cry of "Oh, fuck!" echoing in the wind.

On the human side of the defensive line, they saw huge lumps of iron shoot out of the passage like artillery shells, instantly smashing cover, machine gun positions, and fortifications to pieces.

Then those lumps of iron unfolded their limbs and raised their bewildered, bald green Ork heads.

The teleportation had succeeded, though the method was a little strange. They had been physically hurled over.

Setting aside that bizarre method of travel, the results were outstanding. Who could have imagined that Orks could fire people like artillery shells?

Every Mega Boss who stood up was a terrifying killing machine. Their weapons were powerful and full of Waaagh!, and with their thick armor and Force Fields, they were practically invincible in a chaotic melee.

Among the humans, probably only super-soldiers like the Astartes or specialized troops such as Ogryns could stop them.

Holding his combi-weapon, Cheng Mingrui cursed Kuka while bombarding the human positions with rockets and his Plasma Gun, blasting them beyond recognition and drawing scream after scream from the humans.

The well-trained Kasrkin tried to establish a new defensive line. To their despair, countless Ork Boyz poured through the passage and charged alongside the Mega Bosses.

Cleverhead's spirits rose as well. He manipulated his yellow field to draw in large amounts of trash and scrap metal, spinning them around himself before violently hurling them out once he had built up enough power.

Accelerated by the magnetic field, every piece of scrap metal became a deadly weapon, engulfing Commissar Japhard and all his troops in front of him.

Cleverhead was confident that the Humies could never withstand his storm of attacks. The Boyz had arrived at just the right moment, too. He had to show them his moment of glory.

A cold, silvery-white flash of lightning pierced Cleverhead's yellow field, weakened by his attack, and drove straight toward his head.

At the critical instant, Cleverhead tilted his head, relying on combat instincts honed over years of fighting. Only that kept the electric flash from punching through his skull.

The electric flash, which had been driving straight ahead, deftly changed direction and slashed downward, severing Cleverhead's intact arm. The cut was clean, the flesh scorched into a bloody mess, and the pain filled Cleverhead's roar with rage.

Wielding his Power Sword with its Disruption Field active, Japhard pressed his advantage and immediately attacked again. This time, he sliced through the generator on Cleverhead's back, and the yellow field surrounding them both dimmed considerably.

"How dare you sneak up on me! You damned Humie!" Cleverhead's fury seemed capable of devouring the tiny human before him.

"For the Emperor! You must die here, beast!" Holding his Power Sword horizontally, Japhard stared with such cold killing intent that even Cleverhead, an Ork Warboss renowned for his savagery and temper, felt a trace of fear.

"Waaagh!!" Cleverhead's Power Klaw collided with the Power Sword, and their Disruption Fields gave off a terrifying sizzling hiss.

As the two figures, one large and one small, fought inside the yellow field, the Meltagun gunner who had lost an arm and a leg to the flying scrap dragged his bleeding stumps along, crawling inch by inch to his Meltagun and aiming its muzzle at Cleverhead.

"For the Emperor..."
