The brothers of the Chapter noticed their Chapter Master's peril. The companies holding the surrounding positions against Ork reinforcements diverted some of their forces to attack the members of Sneaky Boss's Kill Team led by Copperhead.
Their Boltguns fired with perfect accuracy, but it meant nothing. The rounds either struck Force Fields or merely clanged against armor.
The Heavy Nobs under attack raised their ridiculously oversized Shootas and pulled the triggers. A metal storm of bullets engulfed the Space Marines coming to Lawrence's aid.
