Neither side was likely to win anytime soon. Even if the Tyranids won again, they would need time to produce a sufficiently powerful fleet. That would give Cheng Mingrui's fleet enough time to reach the Fengrao Star System and deal the Tyranids there a killing blow.
Before leaving, Cheng Mingrui had one more matter to settle. He needed a trusted subordinate to defend the Starting Point System and continually supply reinforcements to his fleet.
Plenty of Orks were loyal to Cheng Mingrui, but only one could be trusted to carry out his orders: Rambo, the Kommandos' Boss.
"Rambo, I'm leaving the Starting Point System to you. You've got to hold this place for the Screw Clan. Get those defenses built faster. I want Starting Point I through Euronia III covered in solid anti-air firepower, enough to blast any number of bugs to bits."
Turning the Starting Point System into a fortified stronghold and shipbuilding center had always been part of Cheng Mingrui's plan.

Cheng Mingrui scratched Hols, who was perched on his shoulder, and said, "Hols, you're staying here after we leave. Rambo, you've got to keep him safe."
