Rebuilding these planets was not much easier than rebuilding the Dead Planet. Then there was Fengrao IV. Cheng Mingrui had gotten carried away and sent the entire fleet of Ork Roks crashing down onto it, so a good deal of the blame for its ecological disaster rested with him.

He could only draw up separate development plans for each planet. Fengrao V, at the outermost edge of the star system, had also been battered beyond recognition by orbital bombardment. Once the Orks there finished clearing out the Tyranids, they could turn the planet into a fortress world.

Cheng Mingrui planned to build a comprehensive air-defense array across the planet's surface, ideally powerful enough for a single planet to hold off an entire fleet. Rottooth could be stationed here. He was the best at planning and building defensive installations, and he had already proved his ability during the earlier battle for the Fengrao Star System.

The fleet of Ork Roks had smashed Fengrao IV from top to bottom, but that was not entirely a bad thing. The meteor impacts had unearthed mineral deposits buried deep underground.

With such favorable conditions, Fengrao IV could be designated a mining planet. Getting those Ork Roks flying again would also take a little work.

Space warships were heavy and enormous. Most were built in space because the absence of gravity made construction much easier. Many large warships even risked crashing if they accidentally got caught in a planet's gravitational pull.
