Once defensive concerns such as the bridge were settled, it was time to consider offensive weapons. It was such a shame that the C'tan Shard Cannon had been destroyed. Who knew whether he could get another one from some Necron Dynasty?
Scrounging for goods in a Necron Dynasty was no easy task. He could only leave it to chance.
For now, a large Dimensional Rumble Cannon could substitute for the C'tan Shard Cannon as the main gun. But what other weapons should he add?
The C'tan Shard Cannon was too advanced to tinker with, but he could try his hand at the Necrons' other weapons. Their classic Gauss Weapons, for instance. Mounting one at the bow was perfectly feasible, and it would work well against both single targets and groups of enemies.
Building two main guns at once would make the schedule rather tight, though. If only Dio were here. Making weapons was his specialty. The bigger and more powerful the weapon, the more interested he was in building it, and the better he made it.
Cheng Mingrui did not need to worry about secondary weapons such as Macro-cannons and Lances. He could leave all of those to Crooked Mouth.
Cheng Mingrui was considering a worst-case scenario: what if the Tyranids could hatch even larger giant Bio-ships better suited to melee combat, and they still managed to pin down the Sneaky Boss's Ship in battle?
He swiped through his Holographic Projection, which contained a proposal from Kidd. Kidd suggested fitting the Sneaky Boss's Ship with a pair of arms to handle complicated situations. Arms were much more flexible in close combat, after all, and the Gorkanauts on the backs of the Gargants had already proven their worth in several actual battles.
That was certainly worth considering. Cheng Mingrui planned to
