"Waaagh!ing across the galaxy is that simple. Now we're gonna take that great first step-Waaagh! across Octarius and kill every last bug in front of us."
Boss Slick checked the time, then declared, "Move out! WAAAAAAGH!!!"
Many of the Orks probably had not understood what Boss Slick meant by Waaagh!ing across the galaxy, but instinctively, they felt it had to be something damned awesome, something very Waaagh!, so they roared together:
WAAAAAAAAAGH!!!!!
The Inertialess Drives began to activate. The entire Ork fleet was enveloped in bubbles governed by completely different laws of physics and sped toward Octaria at hundreds of times the speed of light.
The Tarrok System and the Octaria System were already very close to one another, making the Inertialess Drive the safer choice. Two months later, Boss Slick's fifty thousand Ork warships would be the first to reach Octaria.
Then the Ork fleets from other systems would arrive in succession. If the Orks kept to the schedule, the fleet attacking Octaria would number one hundred and fifty thousand ships. Over the following month, more Ork fleets would continue to arrive. Exactly how many was hard to say. After all, Orks were drawn to war in the first place, and even more so to Boss Slick's great Waaagh!.
The Great Devourer's attention was focused primarily on the Octaria System. It could also predict that, now that Boss Slick had awakened, he would lead his clan in an attack here.
After all, this course of action not only fit Ork thinking perfectly, but their movements were also far too obvious.
Throughout the southern Octarius Sector, almost every system belonging to the Screw Clan had launched attacks on nearby Tyranid systems. These were no minor skirmishes. This was an all-out offensive.
An all-out offensive with such unclear objectives had to
