Boss Slick was too far away to provide immediate support. He could only watch the destruction wrought by the World Devourer. Since the breach had occurred in Dio's defensive sector, Dio could build the new Matter Generator.
Still, for the sake of efficiency, Boss Slick might use his mechanical authority to make a few key components and help Dio get the new Matter Generator working as soon as possible.
Boss Slick was famously all bark and no bite.
Since the Octaria Campaign began, the fighting had never stopped aside from a few brief rests. The Great Devourer's Tyranid Swarm seemed impossible to wipe out.
He watched the fusion energy jetting from the Matter Generator surge, dwindle, and finally fade into stability as its supply of matter ran out. A planet-sized sparkler really was a magnificent, beautiful sight.
Feeling poetic at the sight of such beauty, Boss Slick teased the Emperor of Mankind in his mind. Golden Nob, don't you think the Great Devourer's going too far? Fighting me this hard! I haven't counted, but have I killed as many Tyranids in this campaign as the whole Imperium of Man kills in a year?

There was no response to his ribbing.
The lack of a response only egged Boss Slick on. I'm already this Waaagh!, and Gork and Mork have my back. After all this fighting, even the part of his self-awareness that still held some reverence for gods had been bitten by Khorne.
He continued his rant. *My soul transmigrated here, but I never dared
