Miriael watched the entire process through her magic, missing nothing. When she saw the escape pod rescued by the Aeldari Corsairs, she smiled in satisfaction.
The Chaos Space Marine who had been killed was Lucius. With luck, Lucius would be reborn in that female Aeldari, giving the forces of Chaos an inside agent in the Webway.
The easiest way to breach a sturdy fortress was from within. If Lucius played his cards right, he could open the gates of the Webway for Miriael and her followers.
Then they would have a chance to find the precious sacrifices the Dark Prince coveted within the Webway.
At the thought of her goal drawing near, desire burned like fire in Miriael's heart. She walked over to one of her female followers and roughly shoved her to the ground.
The beautiful follower did not resist. Instead, she grew excited. The abyss of desire was so alluring-what did life or death matter? She no longer cared.
A journey into the Webway would inevitably bring risks, for everyone involved.
Even for Sneaky Boss, the Webway presented a difficult problem.
After a long period of research, Big Blade had actually achieved some results. The project to manufacture a Webway Gate using squig flesh in place of wraithbone was slowly progressing.
Although the newly replicated Webway bore no resemblance to the pure white elegance of the Aeldari version, its effects were actually somewhat similar.
Sneaky Boss did a little probing with his Deconstruction Ability. The squig version of the Webway was ninety percent similar to the Wraithbone Webway!
And as Sneaky Boss learned more about wraithbone and deepened his analysis of the material, he gradually became able to deconstruct some of its material essence, at least in terms of its elemental arrangement.
Knowing its elemental composition alone was
