Sneaky Boss could not teleport the No. 2 Mech over. It was too far away in the rear, and far too large. But that did not mean he was out of options. His mechanical authority here rivaled that of a god.
With so much scrap on the battlefield, why not just cobble together another one modeled after the No. 2 Mech?
"Look down below."
Daft obediently looked down through the bomber's window. Countless pieces of scrap iron and rubbish floated into the air, assembling themselves into a Mighty Big Boss as though they had minds of their own. Judging by its weapon loadout, it was his No. 2 Mech.
"Gork above! That's so Waaagh!!" Wild with excitement, Daft quickly turned his plane toward the Mighty Big Boss. Keeping his word, he also opened a comm link to Boss Copperhead.
"Boss Copperhead, Big Mudball! Hurry up and find Big Mudball! Find him first, then Waaagh!!"
The black armor Sneaky Boss had made covered Boss Copperhead from head to toe. Even amid the heaviest bombardment on the fiercest battlefield, he could clearly hear the words over his communicator.
"Oh, right, Big Mudball. We're supposed to find Sneaky Boss's pet first. Gotta hurry. If the Boss gets mad, what if he stops taking me along...?" Boss Copperhead realized how serious the problem was.
Taking long, hurried strides, Boss Copperhead soon returned to where he had slain Daemon Calamity, then followed the memories left in the waaagh! field to continue his search.
Before long, he found the portal area, which had been turned into a sacrificial altar. It, too, had become a thoroughly wrecked ruin, clearly the site of many battles. There were obvious traces of fighting between Nurgle Daemons and Slaaneshi Daemons, along with scattered Aeldari corpses.
Orks had joined the fighting later
