The problem had to lie in Hops's light, so Tzeentch marshaled power to alter vast numbers of reflecting surfaces, preventing Hops's light from being reflected into those worlds.

Without that light, Boss Slick would stop disappearing and dying, surely? Whatever the enemy intended, keeping him from achieving it could only be a good thing.
