Arc 1The Holy Maiden’s Revelations

Chu Siqing used her Gossip System to expose plots, uncover a spy, and influence royal decisions while becoming the Holy Maiden. The arc ended with Wen Minjing rescuing the missing Chu Yuxi, who discovered she was his rumored fiancée.

Chu Siqing helped the court combat trafficking and folk scams, exposed scandals among the nobility, and introduced agricultural advances. The stretch ended with Han Yucheng placing fourth in the Palace Examination and his family moving to arrange a match with Second Miss Du.

  • Wen Minjing rescued Chu Yuxi from the Green Jade Tower, but Wen Yuanyi rejected his proposal after Princess Shun revealed that Wen Minjing was now his adopted elder sister.
  • Chu Siqing’s advice led Emperor Chu Ming to use movable-type printing, the People's Gazette, storytellers, and operas to warn people about child-snatchers.
  • Commandery Lady Yongfu was stripped of her title and sent to guard Prince Fu's tomb after her assassins confessed, while Han Xiangru later married Qin Sanlang despite warnings about his household.
