A ripple suddenly disturbed the tranquil spatial barrier of the cosmos, and a fissure thinner than a strand of hair appeared.
The fissure gradually widened. Once it reached the width of a finger, mosquito-sized Dream Insects flapped their wings and scattered in every direction.
The Dream Insects were tiny, their bodies covered in barbed golden needles and their mouths densely packed with feelers. As they emerged into space, their entire bodies changed color to resemble the starry sky. Without looking closely, no one would notice anything amiss.
Like dandelion seeds, these Dream Insects drifted out into the cosmos.
A passing tier-four circular spacecraft was heading toward the area.
Six Machine Race cultivators sat aboard, completely unaware of the danger.
The ship's radar detected nothing unusual, and it continued flying forward.
A few seconds later.
"Yiya-ya, yiya-ya."
Invisible sound waves filled the ship's flight path with rippling patterns. The ship plunged into them, and its intelligent system had already been altered.
