The book goes premium at twelve.

First, thanks to Great North River for the meticulous care and recommendations. Everything was arranged down to the last detail.

I'm sincerely grateful. One look at my previous book will tell you just how sincere I am.

During my previous book's new-release period, it was supposed to get a major recommendation slot. Its results probably just met the threshold. Normally, it would have received a smaller recommendation in the meantime, and with that extra push, the major slot would have been a sure thing.

In the end, I never got the major recommendation, and that other book went straight to a 404.

With no major recommendation coming, my editor told me to go premium.

I didn't. I had a fire bottled up inside me and kept refusing to go premium. I charged nothing and wrote for months.

I kept writing until even I thought I was being an idiot. Then this book came along.

I just wanted to prove that my writing was pretty good, that people read it and liked it.

Even if I don't write well, a crowdfunded book can't flop.

Doesn't auto-subscribe sound sweet?
