Soon, Jiang Yumiao understood where they would be eating.
As soon as they entered the little hut, a host waiting inside in a tailcoat came forward to greet them.
Once inside, Jiang Yumiao immediately noticed a staircase spiraling downward at the far side of the room.
The host led them down the stairs, revealing a tunnel with no end in sight. Fortunately, the lighting was fairly bright, keeping it from feeling too oppressive.
Once they entered the tunnel, Ning Chunchi took Jiang Yumiao's hand, seemingly worried that this kind of passage might make him uncomfortable.
The tunnel wasn't actually very long. After they walked a short distance, the space ahead gradually opened up. At the end stood a blue door decorated with all sorts of ocean motifs, making Jiang Yumiao feel as though he were about to enter the Dragon Palace.
When the door opened, Jiang Yumiao looked up at the sight before him and felt that it really was almost like entering the Dragon Palace!
The restaurant Ning Chunchi had booked had been named the "world's most beautiful restaurant" just last year. Built six meters below sea level, it used specially engineered glass to withstand the pressure of the seawater. Its 180-degree glass dome gave guests a panoramic view of the unique underwater scenery.
Through the glass, they could see all kinds of vividly colored coral reefs around them. Schools of fish swam overhead from time to time, including quite a few large species rarely seen elsewhere.

Jiang Yumiao couldn't help pressing his hand against the glass, marveling at the gorgeous, dreamlike marine life beyond it.
