Jiang Yumiao took the pillow from Ning Chunchi, turned, and set it on one side of the bed. Without realizing it, he rubbed his sore eyes with the back of his hand after reading that angsty novel.
Ning Chunchi followed behind him. Seeing Jiang Yumiao secretly wipe away his tears broke his heart, and he hurriedly said, "I'll sleep here from now on."

Jiang Yumiao nearly laughed aloud, then felt that would be far too forward. He quickly composed himself and tried to look calm. "Then... all right."
When Ning Chunchi saw the Little Wave plush occupying the other side of the bed, his broken heart shattered into even smaller pieces.
"How come I didn't see it at your place last time?" he asked mournfully.
Jiang Yumiao followed his gaze to the large blue plush on the bed and explained, "The old bed was small. If I left it there, you wouldn't have had anywhere to sleep, so I put it in another room while you were showering."
Remembering the letter Ning Chunchi had written him, he smiled. "You told me to cuddle it while I slept, but I've barely had the chance. The last time was almost two weeks ago. I finally get to do it today."
Ning Chunchi: "..."
Back then, he had only wanted to leave a plush behind so Little Grape would think of him while he wasn't around.
Ning Chunchi cleared his throat. "No, you don't get to today, either."
