The rain had eased considerably by then.
Pei Hang hurried a couple of steps to catch up with Qin Buran and took out his phone. "Then let's add each other."
Qin Buran smiled without saying anything. He simply took off Pei Hang's jacket and handed it back to him.
Then he flagged down a taxi, bent down to climb inside, and shut the door with a bang.
Pei Hang stood outside the car and watched Qin Buran leave.
As the car grew more distant, Pei Hang gripped his jacket and stared ahead.
He stood there for a long time.
Until the car turned the corner and disappeared into traffic.
Pei Hang looked away.
He had only taken two steps when his phone rang.
He casually picked it up to check, and his gaze paused.
In the end, he couldn't help letting out a soft laugh.
