Prince Chris's Army began its assault on the Minisia camp.

The first fighting broke out at the northern Ridge Watchtower. The Mountain Wolf Battle Group, three smaller player battle groups, and a number of unaffiliated players eagerly climbed toward the Jagged Peaks. There was not even a probing attack-they opened with an all-out assault.

As they climbed, the half-company of infantry stationed atop the ridge fired down at them with matchlocks, bows, and crossbows.

High ground made shooting the idiots below a breeze.

Even though the players had superior numbers and firepower as they climbed, and had even brought bulletproof shields, they still took a beating in the first exchange of fire, losing seven or eight men.

By contrast, not a single Minisian hiding on the ridge died. They lay behind rocks, safely tucked out of sight.

These Swivel Guns were ultralight cannons that the Minisians mounted on the deck rails of their seagoing ships. Their barrels were about as thick and long
