Just as Black-and-White Bear, bored out of his mind, was watching the Count's Army cavalry to his left and letting his thoughts wander, the Six-Pounder Field Gun in front of him suddenly roared, interrupting his idle musings.
Boom...
The smoke belching from the Six-Pounder Field Gun was swept back by the wind from the west and slapped against Black-and-White Bear's faceplate.
As smoke mixed with gunpowder residue plastered his faceplate, its bitter taste mingled with the smell of gunpowder. Even with his faceplate on, the ventilation was so good that it still made him cough a little.
Despite being forced to swallow a mouthful of gunpowder, Black-and-White Bear wasn't upset. Instead, he raised his head and looked in the direction the cannon had fired.
Sure enough, while Black-and-White Bear had been spacing out, the Bohemians had moved. Besides the first wave of infantry emerging from the grove, a second wave of Bohemian infantry had arrived from the front left, directly in front of Hegrande City.
Once the two groups joined up, they immediately attacked the Expeditionary Army's artillery position from the left and right. At the same time, they split off two smaller groups to strike at the transport convoy from farther out on the left.
Clearly, the Bohemians intended to suppress the Expeditionary Army with fire and tie down its troops from multiple directions, forcing it to spread out its defenses and thus weaken the artillery position's firepower.
What was this Bohemian tactic called again-attacking at multiple points to find a weakness in the Expeditionary Army's defensive line, then concentrating superior numbers to break through?
Black-and-White Bear racked his brains for a moment... a pincer attack?
Or was it called an arc-shaped offensive?
*Forget it. No need to overthink this. I'm not the artillery commander, so why bother? When
