Qing City.
Within the deathly silent, ashen Demon Domain.
After the great battle, every building in Qing City had collapsed. Nearly the entire city had been razed, and countless deep craters and gullies scarred the ground, making for a horrifying sight.
The many cultivators within Qing City continued maintaining their formations, anxious and uneasy.
"What happened?"
Venerable Dongyan frowned deeply, his eyes full of worry as he stared toward the entrance to the Myriad-Age Dragon-Subduing Array. "Why has the Myriad-Age Dragon-Subduing Array stopped responding?"
He could not sense even the slightest movement.
Had something gone wrong?
"Venerable, can you break through the boundary of the Savior of the World's Demon Domain?" Sword Immortal Lu suddenly asked. "If you can, I'll try sending Senior Lin a Flying Sword Message to ask for help. That Golden Crow is his youngest daughter, after all. Surely he wouldn't just stand by?"
"If this were her Demon Domain before her breakthrough, I could certainly break through its boundary."
Venerable Dongyan shook his head slightly. "But this is a heavenly demon-level Demon Domain. Even my true body would find it difficult to break through."
If mortals discovered them and triggered an Outer Demon Descent, forming an Outer-Demon Domain, its boundary could not be breached unless the descended Outer Demon was killed.
A false demonic domain, however, was easy to enter but difficult to leave. To break through its boundary and return to reality, one needed strength comparable to the cultivation of the Outer Demon who had released it.
In the mortal world, only a reincarnated Supreme of the Supreme One Realm could breach the boundary of a heavenly demon's Demon Domain.
