An enormous humanoid figure suddenly shot up behind Madara Uchiha. The giant had nine eyes, its color and body resembling withered wood, with ten pillar-like protrusions jutting from its back... The sight made Gu Yan narrow his eyes.
"What is that thing? Why does it feel threatening?"
Gu Yan muttered inwardly, but did not act rashly. Ling Feng, meanwhile, wore a knowing smile. The next moment, he pressed his palms together, and his entire bearing changed. His deep black eyes suddenly transformed into the same Rinnegan as Madara Uchiha's.
"Multiple Shadow Clone Technique!"
After Ling Feng formed the hand seals, eight figures with the same face and build as him appeared in Gu Yan's sight in an instant. Gu Yan narrowed his eyes, unsure what his opponent was up to, and dared not make a reckless move.
Then Ling Feng and his eight clones began forming identical seals before abruptly striking downward in midair.
"Summoning Technique!"
An enormous summoning seal immediately appeared beneath Ling Feng's feet. With a boom, nine massive figures appeared.
These nine figures all differed in appearance and build, but they shared one feature: they all had tails. Even their tails differed, however. One had only a single tail, another had two, and the numbers rose one by one...
